The Mat Club offers clubs, teams or groups the opportunity to rent their mats during the year. Whether it be Wrestling, Jiu Jitsu, Martial Arts, Boxing, or Yoga and Kids Play, our facility can cater to your needs. We strive to provide a clean, neat and quiet space to train, with stringent cleanliness and safety protocols in place.
With 1,200 square feet of mats available (1 large mat is 37' by 30' and the small mat is 15' by 15' ) opportunities are available for private lessons and small groups all the way to team training.

We expect that you allow 5 minutes at the end of your rental time for the cleaning of the mats before the next practice. If you need more time, make sure to book that ahead of time on the calendar. Ie. if you book 7pm-8pm you class should conclude at 7:55pm to begin cleaning. It is your responsibility to leave the mats, restrooms, and lobby clean after your program leaves. There should be no water bottles, clothes, or other items left behind. It is your responsibility to disinfect the mats after your session is over via the Mat Club Mat Cleaning Policy.
We have several teams renting from us so please make sure to be on the mats only during your booked time. Please ask your clients to arrive no more than 10 minutes before their session. No exceptions will be made. Cancellations; If you miss a rented time slot due to a game or other conflict your team will forfeit those hours and they can not be made up. There are no makeup days for missed time slots, if you need to make up additional time it will need to be booked as additional hours at market rate and is subject to availability.
To run classes you must be a registered Business with a Federal EIN. And you must cary insurance at certain limits that name The Mat Club LLC and Park Place LLC as additionally insured. Reach out for details on insurance requirements.
Anyone who is to coach, volunteer, etc at The Mat Club or have repeated interaction with students in an authority role, must have their Mat Club Coach Certifications complete and approved.
Before entering the space a license agreement will be completed and payment is to be made up front and in installments.
For Private Lessons clients or coaches must pay for their mat time via Zelle when the session begins. Cancellations must me made 24 hours in advance, or the mat fee is due at the time you had booked. Failure to pay for lessons at the start of your session will result in an additional 50% fee added on per day late. See Private lesson Booking below.

Mat Club Butler; Schedule is managed via a google calendar. This makes it easy to book the small mat and not double book.

Small Mat: in peacock blue is the private 15 x15 space in the corner.
Step 1 - To Book Mat Space: When you want to reserve mat space open your google calendar via the above link. If the mat space you want to book is available, you can book directly by choosing; Create --> Event. Title the event Large Mat: or Small Mat: Your Programs Name and choose the right key color for the mat space you are booking. Then choose Add guests and enter hello at thewrestlingcoach.com as a guest to the event as this will make it so I get a notification of the new booking. You do not need to include any more event details than the mat you are booking and your programs name. ie: Small Mat: TWCA or Large Mat: Gifph
Step 2 - Pay for your Mat Space before you step on the mat
Please remember to pay for private lessons on the small mat or one-off events on the large mat via Zelle at the start of the booked time slot. We are all focused on helping our students improve and should be responsible in paying for our share of the facility costs on time. Failure to pay on time will result in a 50% late fee per day added to the total. We don't want to be the bad guy so be a team player and pay at the start of your booking.
Becoming a Coach at The Mat Club Facility
Before you can teach, volunteer coach or run classes at The Mat Club LLC or TWC Academy you are required to be properly trained and certified. This training will take at least 5 hours of classes and 5 certifications. Background checks take 10 days to clear, so allow ample time before you are scheduled to coach. CPR classes are in person locally and must be set up on your own. Please plan accordingly.
All parts of this process must be renewed and submitted annually on or before August 31st. Annual renewal of ALL forms required. Including annual re-signing of Coaches Codes of Conduct and EAP to be aware of updates to these policies.
